Last week we launched a new version of FileCentral.se with a new layout. Apart from the layout there are some other improvements as well:

* Inbox-functionality

If you need to receive files from customers, the new "inbox" (or "dropbox") functionality may be of interest to you. It will give you access to your own upload page which you can be distributed to customers. The layout on the upload page can also be customized.

* Send multiple files in the same job

Users with a Business-account can now send multiple files in the same batch (job).

* Notification of a download s only mailed once per recipient even though the download the file several times

* Now there is a possibility to forward to a friend information about FileCentral.se

* New version saves files on new storage hardware with more available space

New functionality in the service:

* An already sent file can be sent to more recipients

As long as the file is active it is possible to add recipients
on the "History" page. Please note that the total number of
recipients is limited by the account type.

* Download using the download code

When the email does not reach the recipient it is now
possible to download the file using the "download code".
The download code is included in the e-mail and also
displayed on the "History" page. It can be given to the
recipient via phone, MSN or similar.

* Downloading a file on the "History" page

The sender can now download active files directly on the
"History" page.

* FileCentral API enables integration of FileCentral in applications

By using our FileCentral API it is now possible send files
via FileCentral directly from applications. We also offer
a .NET-component for simple interation on Windows.
This is in line with our focus on extra functionality for
business (Business to Business) users.

* Account upgrade using a credit card

Since some time ago it is possible to upgrade an account
to Business level using a credit card. The cost for one
year is only SEK 540 (approx EUR 60). Activation is done
within 1 business day from payment.

New functionality in the service:

* The terms of use for the service has been added
* A new, paid, "Business" account level has been added
* It is now possible to delete an account
* The time before a file expires is now displayed in the history
* A few minor bug fixes...
